Affiliate overview
The affiliate portal gives each user a referral link. When a referred customer subscribes to a paid plan, the platform records a commission.
Commission rate
Default commission is 10 percent on completed paid subscription payments.
Commission statuses
- Pending means the payment was recorded and commission is waiting for review.
- Approved means it is ready for payout.
- Paid means the payout was completed manually.
- Void means the payment was refunded or commission was cancelled.
Payouts
This starter tracks commissions and payout status. Automated PayPal Payouts can be added as a future production upgrade.
